Understanding the Three-Point Customer Life Cycle

If I had known this at the inception of my business, things would have been easier. The three-point customer life cycle is a principle that simplifies online business operations. It comprises three elements: lead generation, nurturing your email list or audience, and sales. That’s it. Of course, there are preliminary steps such as clarity and specificity. We will talk about those later.

 

I coined the term ‘three-point customer lifecycle’ because your customers go through this cycle with you. Once you understand who you are by God’s design, you can create your online business by God’s design. The key to a successful business done God’s way is understanding your ideal client, their problems, and the transformation they seek.

 

Building the Foundation for the Three-Point Customer Life Cycle

Before diving into lead generation, nurturing, and sales, there are things you need to understand. These include who you are by God’s design, your core values, your mission, and the eternal return on investment you’re creating. You need to understand your area of expertise, how you can help someone, and who you’re called to serve.

 

Most mainstream entrepreneurs and online business coaches will tell you to start by identifying your ideal client and how you can help them. But I believe we need to start with understanding who we are and our testimony. The Lord already knows who He wants you to serve, and your transformational journey is the blueprint for how you can help them.

 

We extract the core values you bring into your online business, create a movement that people can lock arms with, and then determine your online business by God’s design. You have a calling, a movement, a holy fire of anger inside for something you want to see changed. In my case, it’s to bring moms home to restore the family unit the way God intended while creating kingdom wealth.

 

Implementing the Three-Point Customer Life Cycle

Once you have clarity on these aspects, you can focus on lead generation, growing your email list, and visibility. A common fear is launching to crickets. I was told that a launch will build your email list, but that’s only true if you’re running Facebook ads. Otherwise, you’re spending too much time on social media, hoping that people will see your post and join your email list. But leveraging the power of other people’s relationships, hosting bundles, participating in bundles, and speaking at virtual events can grow your email list without being a slave to social media or paid ads.

 

Conclusion:

In conclusion, understanding and implementing the three-point customer life cycle can transform your business operations. It provides a streamlined approach to running your online business. Remember, it starts with understanding who you are by God’s design, then extracting your area of expertise, and identifying who you’re called to serve before diving into lead generation, nurturing, and sales.
